Known better as “The Village of Clemmons” you will find that the locals are pretty darn proud of their community. Founded in 1802 it was not incorporated until 1986. Located Southwest of Winston-Salem, off I40, Clemmons and the 12 miles of its community are experiencing growth in housing and in things to do while you’re there. You like to golf? You have to visit Tanglewood Park Golf. You’ll enjoy sports for all ages, from BMX to Little League baseball and football and soccer as well. There’s something for everyone at the Southwest Athletics Complex. From the many winery’s you’ll find in surrounding communities to the outdoor lifestyle with fishing, the Greenway and Tanglewood Park you’ll never run out of things to do here. Although there may not be a college to attend here, you have Winston-Salem just up the road which is the home of the Demon Decons at Wake Forest University (WFU).
